Been with Dr Thaen for about 3 months and it’s been a great blessing to have found her during this time in my life. Typically I hear a lot a stories about how therapists do not listen and don’t give you tools to work with during crisis. That wasn’t the case with Dr Thaen. I could talk for 30 mins and she heard every word I said. Gives me her input and tools to use to combat my crisis and it works. I’ve shared some of her tools with friends and it even worked for them. I worked with Dr. Saelee for a little over a year and she helped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined.. I had sessions with Dr. Saelee for almost ten months and she played an integral role in my healing journey, which I could not have done without her knowledge, compassion, and patience. She creates a safe environment for her clients to open up and had personally made me feel very comfortable from the start of our sessions and through the times when our discussion topics were more difficult, particularly when hashing through my past trauma and difficulties with my relationships. It is no exaggeration when I say that Dr. Saelee saved my life. I have tried therapy a few times in the past and found that it didn’t work for me … I’d also been straight up rejected by a few therapists, not that I can blame them. At the time I was struggling with substance-abuse issues, dangerously volatile mood swings and a highly unstable sense of self, amongst other undiagnosed mental disorders. That is until I started seeing Thaen in November. She was willing to take a chance on me. She helped me get sober, and was patient with me as I struggled to achieve that. She gave me diagnoses that finally made sense of the difficulty that I’ve experienced my entire life just trying to navigate everyday interactions and challenges. And she gave me so many incredibly tools to help mitigate that difficulty. Dr. Thaen Saelee is the best thing that has happened to me and I am grateful every single day for everything that she has done for me.
