Therapy FAQ

No, we are not an emergency or crisis clinic. If you are having a crisis or an emergency, please call 911 or go to your closest emergency room.

No, we see all clients virtually over a video call.

A tablet, smartphone, or computer with video capabilities (camera, speakers, and microphone), and internet/cellular service.

We do not take any clients that are under 18 years old.

No, we do not offer addiction services.

The best way to find therapists is to call your insurance and ask what therapists they have listed who take your insurance and who are currently accepting clients. From there, you can look up the clinics on Google to look at any ratings and look in Psychology Today to learn more about a therapist.

We do not take Medicare or Med-advantage insurance. It is important that you make sure you don’t have one of these insurances because you will be responsible for the bill.

If you have a co-insurance we’ll need to make sure that we take both of them to see one of Avid's therapists.

If you have OHP you will not be responsible for any payments outside of no-show and late cancellation fees. If you have commercial insurance, you will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles. If you would like to know what your co-pay or deductible costs will be, please contact your insurance
