As a quick background, I am a California-licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), master addiction counselor (MAC), and an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Certified Therapist, Consultant, and Trainer. I am also a Certified Motivational Interviewing (MI) Trainer and a member of MINT. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, I provide training, supervision, consultation, and therapy to individuals and professionals in Santa Barbara County and beyond.
In my private practice, I specialize in culturally sensitive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, incorporating EMDR, CBT, MI, TRM, and mindfulness techniques. I also offer Intensive EMDR treatment for those seeking a focused, accelerated approach to healing.
Since 2015, I have been an adjunct instructor at Allan Hancock College, teaching psychology and human services courses. I also lead public and private training on Evidence-Based Practices such as EMDR, MI, NIATx, and the MATRIX model, in addition to providing crisis debriefing using the Acute Traumatic Incident Protocol (ATIP).
